Welcome to the Northern Vermont Council section of the VARA website. The Northern Vermont Council has been set up to serve the younger alpine racers who live in the northern portion and "Northeast Kingdom" of the State of Vermont.
The NVC operates under VARA's general rules and guidelines, yet we also have a set of NVC rules and policies that you should check out. The NVC rules are generated and approved by the NVC Council coaches.
We hope that your experiences with us are enjoyable and worthwhile.

Place point standings are maintained to rank J3 and J4 racers in the Northern Vermont council race series.
These rankings serve as the basis for seeding and selection to State and Regional races and camps.
