Smugglers' Notch Ski and Snowboard Club

          Smugglers' Notch Ski and Snowboard Club has been the growth place for the ski careers of many Olympians, National Team members, pro ski racers and college athletes. SNSC started in 1959, not as SNSC, but as the Madonna Racing Team. Well-known ski coach Mickey Cochran along with his sons and daughters formed the racing team. Skiers came from all around to be coached by Mickey and to be a part of a unique family-oriented program, which offered the highest quality training and coaching at an inexpensive rate. In 1975 SNSC became a not-for-profit organization with the goal to provide competitive skiing opportunities to our youth. Blessed with support from Smugglers Notch Resort, one of the best training hills in the East, and a diverse membership and coaching staff; SNSC can provide training, opportunities, experiences and memories unique to our wonderful organization.  Today, we are the hosts of over 100 junior alpine and snowboard athletes. Through the decades the Club has changed in both name and coaches, but the commitment to keep SNSC promoting ski and snowboard competition will always continue.

          Our Mission at Smugglers' Notch Ski & Snowboard Club is to provide our athletes with opportunties to learn, grow, and become successful through quality experiences while reaching for personal goals in Alpine and Snowboard sports and competitions.
