Mt Mansfield Academy

Mt Mansfield Academy(MMA) was originally founded in 1920 as Mt Mansfield Ski Club (MMSC) by a small group of passionate local skiers and incorporated in 1934. It is one of the oldest ski clubs in America.

The ambition of the Mt. Mansfield Academy is to provide the support and direction necessary for each young person to achieve their personal potential, goals and dreams.

We do this by providing a quality academic and athletic program for student athletes pursuing ski racing at the elite level.  It is our belief that each student athlete be treated as a unique individual, fostering academic excellence, athletic commitment, independence, responsibility, respect and confidence.  Our programs are designed to provide student athletes with a stimulating and enjoyable opportunity to reach their potential as competitors, and most importantly, to instill lifelong love of the sport while teaching the values of team work and sportsmanship.

take a left on route 108 North (Mountain Road). Mt. Mansfield is ~ 10 miles up the road. Turn right at the sign for Spruce
Peak after you go around the corner J3 Racers turn right at the fork, go up the hill (you will have large houses on your
left)turn into the parking lot on your right that is just below the Mt. Mansfield Ski Club. Registration is on the secoud floor
of the Club House. J4 and J5 Racers will take a left at the fork into the Spruce Peak Parking lot and registration is in the
Day Lodge.

DIRECTIONS TO STOWE : From I-89: Exit 10 to Stowe 10 miles N. on route 100. At the three-way stop light in Stowe (across from The Ski Museum),take a left on route 108 North (Mountain Road). Mt. Mansfield is ~ 10 miles up the road. Turn right at the sign for Spruce Peak,  after you go around the corner and turn right at the fork, go up the hill (you will have large houses on your left) turn into the parking lot on your right that is just below the MMSCA Club House.  Registration is on the second floor of the Club House, FIS Team Captains' Meetings are on the third.

  • Parking is free in all Mansfield lots from Monday through Thursday during non-holiday periods, and after 2:00 PM every day.
  • The Cross Country Center and Toll House area lots are free seven days a week. 
  • Carpooling incentive: Free parking will also be offered at all times in all lots to cars arriving with four or more guests.
