Job Opportunities at Okemo Mountain Resort and Okemo Mountain School!

1) Okemo Mountain Resort and Okemo Mountain School are seeking a Snow Sports Program Director to oversee athletic programs at both the Okemo Competition Center and Okemo Mountain School. The individual will be employed jointly by both organizations. The Snow Sports Program Director will be responsible for the management of all competition programs and athletes (alpine ski racing, snowboard, and freestyle/freeskiing), including the supervision of all coaches and curriculum development for each age group and discipline. Additionally, the Snow Sports Program Director will supervise other Okemo Competition Center staff, including competition events staff, and have responsibilities involving department budgeting, payroll, hiring and training of staff. Applicants must be enthusiastic team players with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills. Prior coaching and athletic administration experience is a must; 10 + years is preferred. US Ski & Snowboard Level 300 or higher coaching certification preferred and full PSIA certification a plus. This is a full-time year round position offering a competitive salary, as well as benefits including health insurance.

2) Okemo Mountain Resort and Okemo Mountain School are seeking part time and full time winter alpine ski racing coaches at the U14 – U19 levels. Applicants should be enthusiastic team players with excellent oral and written communication skills. Prior coaching and/or racing experience is a must, as well as the flexibility to travel to state, regional, and national level competitions.

3) Okemo Mountain Resort is seeking an administrative assistant for the Competition Center to handle program registrations and management, related office tasks, general department communications, as well as assist with competition events. Applicants should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be well organized, and able to multi-task. Experience with a competition program is a plus, but not a must.

4) Okemo Mountain Resort is seeking a race administrator to work with Alpine, Snowboard, and Freestyle competition events. Applicants should have experience with competitive snow sports – current US Ski & Snowboard officials certifications a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational skills a must.
